Contact
If you want to contact the main author of this site, Jona Lendering, first read this.
Before you write
- You are always welcome to send suggestions to improve this site, but please mention the page to which you refer.
- Do you need help for an assignment? Please first check the library! Although the internet offers many resources, it cannot yet be a substitute for a visit to the library.
- Questions about the books by professional academicians? Write them, not me. They are to serve society and will answer any question. If not, you can complain to their superiors, not to me.
- FAQ: go here.
If you have read all this, you can use this e-mail address to reach the main author of this website.
Using texts or photos
- Texts by the authors of this website are for free distribution only; you can copy, re-format and redistribute their texts for use on computers, computer networks or as a printed publication, provided that
- you charge no fees for their distribution,
- mention the name of the original author and
- add a link to Livius.org (this means that if you want to use it outside the world wide web, you will have to write us).
- Photos are under an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 1.0 International license. We share them with a message confirming that we do not charge money. If that's not good enough, then do not use the photo. Requests to fill in forms to confirm what you already know, will be ignored.
- Please note that several quoted translations are copyrighted to people that are not related to Livius. The translators are always mentioned. Obviously, these quotations can only be copied if you mention the name of the original translator. We believe that quoting them is "fair use" but if you feel we do something wrong, drop a line, and we'll see what we can do.
