Legionary Base, View from the north - Hadrian visited the fortress in the early summer of 128. An inscription records his speech.
- Veterans were settled in Cuicul, Sitifis, and Thamugadi.
- Several monuments in the neighborhood: amphitheater, arch of Commodus
- In the third century, III Augusta was temporarily disbanded (from 238 to 253). Perhaps, a (sub)unit of VII Gemina took over.
